The Land

Ground the ice shaped

Nestled within picturesque, serene landscapes, Glacier Rock Vineyard is an outdoor estate curated for the complex and sophisticated palate.

Ten acres of impeccably groomed grounds: elegant walkways, cultivated vineyards, and 25,420 square feet of natural water features, a tranquil sanctuary for pilgrim geese and mallard ducks.

Northeast Ohio lies near the southern reach of the last great ice sheet. Glacier rocks, boulders carried south by the ice and left behind as it melted, can still be found across this part of the state. It's a fitting name for an estate built on ground the ice shaped.

The Barn

The timber barn with its cupolas and covered porch, across the lawn

The heart of the estate is a timber barn with cupolas, a stone chimney and a long covered porch. Weathered boards and X-braced doors give it a quiet, rustic character.

The Courtyard

The paver courtyard edged in brick, with boulders and the lawn beyond

Beside the barn, a paver courtyard edged in brick opens around a round stone fire pit. Stone pillars topped with iron lanterns mark the walkways, and river-rock beds soften every edge.

The Ponds

Pilgrim geese on the lawn beside the pond

Two ponds anchor 25,420 square feet of natural water features, mirroring the barn and the sky. They are a tranquil sanctuary for pilgrim geese and mallard ducks.

The Lawns

Groomed lawn running past a young tree toward the pond

Groomed lawns run from the courtyard along the north pond to the far end of the grounds, with open sky in every direction.

The Approach
